About The Role
We are looking for a Business Development Manager based in Prato, Toscana. This is a rare opportunity to become a founding and important member of a growing, well‑founded company. You'll collaborate with Italy's most premium and regarded restaurants. As a member of the regional sales team, you will report to the Sales Lead and focus on developing new relationships with restaurants and stores.
What You'll Be Doing
- Map, prospect, pitch and close new restaurants across your region in an organized manner.
- Support partners in joining Deliveroo, providing the best experience to them.
- Communicate with restaurants via physical visits, email, calls, or social media to demonstrate Deliveroo technology.
- Help restaurant owners/managers overcome any barriers or hesitations.
- Attend restaurant and food meet‑ups.
Requirements
- Comfortable targeting new business and with sales experience.
- Confidence or experience dealing with partners/customers, face‑to‑face, phone or email.
- Experience demonstrating product and industry knowledge to clients.
- Comfortable with negotiations.
- Knowledge of the restaurant industry is a significant plus.
- Tenacious.
- Chinese knowledge highly appreciated.
