EFI is looking for a Field Service Engineer to join our Business Unit in Milan, Italy.

Main Duties and Responsibilities

• Provide end‑to‑end technical support primarily for our Italian customer base, including technical phone support and onsite technical support.
• Provide extensive travel to cover the service territory.
• Tradeshow support including printer setup and calibration, demonstration and teardown.
• End user training at operator level.
• Provide feedback to our US‑based R&D team.
• Serve as an Ambassador for EFI.

Job Requirements

• Technical degree or equivalent experience in mechanical, digital, and electronic technology.
• Minimum three years experience in field engineering positions servicing complex electro‑mechanical devices.
• Knowledge of inkjet printing, RIP/color theory, and materials/chemicals used in the printing industry.
• Knowledge of personal computers, Microsoft Windows and Linux operating systems.
• Self‑motivating personality that can independently manage a large service territory (including effective management of EFI assets such as parts, tools, and company information).
• Good communication skills and customer focused.
• Required language skills: Fluent in Italian and English.
• Position requires extensive regional travel at short notice.
