Your Role

We are looking for a Head of Research & Development who will initially contribute hands‑on as a Senior AI/ML Developer. This role blends leadership, architecture, and deep model development.

Responsibilities

• Lead research and technical direction across AI, quantitative modeling, data pipelines, and platform architecture.
• Design and deploy predictive models for financial time‑series (including transformer‑based architectures).
• Own the full AI lifecycle: data ingestion → feature engineering → model training → inference → deployment.
• Develop scalable APIs and distributed services for low‑latency inference.
• Establish standards for testing, monitoring, and model reliability.
• Collaborate closely with founders to align research with product and business outcomes.

What You Bring

Technical Skills

• Python (pandas, NumPy, PyTorch/TensorFlow)
• SQL (PostgreSQL / SQL Server)
• C#/.NET (for core platform integrations)
• Strong background in transformers and attention mechanisms applied to sequential/time‑series data
• Experience with ML Ops, experiment tracking, versioning, performance optimization
