The Centre for Maritime Research and Experimentation (CMRE) is an established, world-class scientific research and experimentation facility that organizes and conductsscientific researchand technology development centred on the maritime domain. It delivers innovative and field-tested science and technology (S&T)solutions to address defence and security needsof the Alliance.

Responsibilities:

  • Provides specialized support to the design and evolution of the Business Architecture domain to ensure alignment between business strategy, capabilities, processes and technology

  • Aligns organisation’s technology with its business mission, strategy, and processes and documenting this using architectural models.

  • Provide continuity management, by developing, implementing and testing a business continuity framework. Manage the development, implementation and testing of continuity management plans.

Essential Qualifications & Experience:

  • A minimum requirement of a bachelor’s degree at a nationally recognised/certified University in an information systems, physics or electronics related scientific or engineering discipline, or other relevant scientific discipline, and 2 years post-related experience.

  • A minimum of 5 years’ background in portfolio management, by developing and applying a management framework to define and deliver a portfolio of programmes, projects and/or ongoing services. Aligns solutions with Enterprise and solution architecture standards (including security).

  • Extensive background in business process improvement. Creating new and potentially disruptive approaches to performing business activities.

  • Extensive background in planning and implementing organisation-wide processes and procedures for the management of risk to the success or integrity of the enterprise.

  • Extensive background in translating business strategies into actionable operating models. Develop and maintain roadmaps for achieving strategic business objectives.

  • Planning and implementing organisation-wide processes and procedures for the management of risk to the success or integrity of the enterprise.

  • Demonstrated experience in managing complex projects and delivering enterprise-wide change.

  • Agile and adaptable to dynamic business environments. Broad exposure to multiple business sectors, ideally with domain expertise in Research and Experimentation (or R&D) organisations.

  • Proficiency in business architecture tools and framework applications.

  • Proven experience in implementing ITIL practices; ITIL certification (Foundation level or higher).

  • Very good level of spoken and written English
