We are looking for a full-time on-site CFD engineer to expand our service capabilities. The candidate should be an enthusiast of CFD with competencies on external aerodynamics for the automotive and motorsport fields.

Responsibilities

• Develop simulation model starting from CAD input, setup the analysis boundary conditions, run the case and analyse the results. Compare the simulation results with the field test data.
• Propose design modifications supported by the simulation data in order to reach the expected performance targets. Involve the colleagues into the design process.
• Explain the idea/concepts to customer and managers.

Qualifications

• Batchelor's or Master's thesis on aerospace engineering (preferred) or vehicle engineering
• Sound experience on fluid dynamics simulation techniques with commercial codes like: Ansys Fluent or STAR-CCM+ or with open-source codes like: OpenFOAM or SU2
• Experience with pre-processing codes like: Beta-CAE ANSA is highly considered
• Experience with post-processing codes like: Paraview is highly considered
• Skills in Python software development are highly appreciated
