Pv Engineer

Responsibilities

Design rooftop and ground-mounted PV systems using AutoCAD, PVsyst, Helioscope, or equivalent tools

Create detailed layouts, electrical SLDs, DC / AC string configurations, inverter selections, and BOS estimates

Conduct energy yield assessments (EYA), irradiance simulations, and shading analysis

Support feasibility studies and site surveys in collaboration with the sales and project teams

Prepare documentation for permitting (layout plans, grid connection studies, etc.)

Collaborate with grid engineers to ensure compliance with local DSO and ENEL standards

Coordinate with procurement team on BOM validation and technical datasheets

Prepare technical deliverables and presentations for clients and internal stakeholders

Requirements

Degree in Electrical, Energy, or Renewable Engineering

1+ years experience in PV design or simulation (internships acceptable)

Proficient in AutoCAD, PVsyst, MS Excel (Helioscope, SAM, or Homer is a plus)

Knowledge of Italian standards (CEI 0-21 / 0-16) and international electrical codes

• Good written and spoken English

Italian preferred

Ability to interpret site plans, survey data, and electrical drawings
