About the Position

We are looking for a Process Launch Management Coordinator to join the Electronics team, reporting directly to the Electronics Process Launch Management Manager. This position is based at our office in Corbetta.

As the Process Launch Management Coordinator, you will coordinate and validate offers and new product launch activities, ensuring simultaneous engineering and manufacturing standards application, capex optimization and reuse, removing roadblocks, and ensuring a smooth launch through continuous monitoring of project status to achieve targets for cost, quality, and time to market.

Your Responsibilities

  • Be the first reference of the business for any manufacturing-related Process Launch Management task activation.
  • Act as the reference between Plant Process Launch Management and the Product Development team, securing offer activation and delivery with simultaneous engineering and standards application.
  • Lead kick-off for RFIs/RFQs, confirming production site and local Plant PLM nomination; coordinate multi-plant offers and industrialization.
  • Validate final plant industrial offers against RFI/RFQ, securing capex avoidance, equipment reuse, and best manufacturing standard solutions.
  • Monitor and report manufacturing needs/risks (capex, areas, saturations, etc.) and coordinate further study deployment onsite and with Central ELS AME.
  • Monitor and report process milestones, readiness, and baseline KPI progress; identify and address potential roadblocks to product and process development.
  • Provide escalation support to resolve blocking points; ensure online and/or onsite support for critical events at risk and appropriate escalation for a silent launch.
  • Ensure compliance with customer requirements, internal norms, procedures, and function guidelines.
  • Monitor, support, and report specific manufacturing deliverables (KDs); support implementation to ensure Gates approval.
  • Support project management tasks and plant activities for Product Change Requests, mitigating impacts on quality, cost, and timing; contribute to continuous improvement and VAVE activities.

What Qualifications you will bring

  • Engineering degree
  • 5 years of relevant experience
  • Project Management and Project Governance tools
  • Problem Solving approach and analytic tools/methodologies (e.g., FMEA, FTA)
  • Industrial KPIs (OEE, CT, FTQ) knowledge
  • Ability to translate business needs into strategic action
  • Drive results, accountability, and ability to handle conflicting situations
  • Awareness, prioritization, and front-loading orientation
  • Leadership to promote collaboration and teamwork
  • Ability to lead cross-functional teams (Engineering and Manufacturing)
  • Strong capability to manage relationships with peers, subordinates, upper management, customers, partners, and suppliers
  • Deep knowledge of IATF16949 requirements and related tools (FMEA, PPAP, SPC, APQP) and their application
  • Good planning and analytical skills
  • Fluent written and spoken English
