Role Overview

This position reports to the Chief Financial Officer and will lead the Treasury function for ABB Robotics following its spin‑out. You will establish a dedicated Treasury team, design global processes, and ensure financial, liquidity and risk management for a standalone entity.

Location & Work Model

Preferred base: Switzerland; other European locations acceptable. The role is hybrid and requires some travel.

Key Accountabilities

• Build and lead a Treasury team and implement a global operating model with best‑practice processes.
• Develop and enforce Treasury policies, systems and internal controls to ensure efficiency and compliance.
• Manage liquidity, funding, capital structure, cash pooling, trade finance and banking relationships; oversee debt and investor relations.
• Establish and oversee financial risk management (e.g., FX) and global insurance programmes.
• Represent Treasury on the carve‑out project, collaborating with ABB Robotics and ABB Group finance teams to ensure smooth separation.

Qualifications

• University degree with additional professional qualifications; deep knowledge of financial products, markets, derivatives and export finance instruments.
• More than 10 years of treasury experience at global companies with expertise in funding, liquidity management, cash pooling, risk management and trade finance.
• Proven project and people management skills, delivering results under tight deadlines in international settings; spin‑off experience is a plus.
• Strong business partnership skills, strategic thinking, excellent analytical and problem‑solving abilities.
• Exceptional communication skills; able to simplify complex topics for non‑experts including C‑level; fluent in English.
