RF System Engineer

Inside the Teleport and Ground Infrastructures Engineering department in Rome, we are looking for an RF System Engineer, supporting RF systems and antenna design, procurement, installation, integration and test in the designated Ground Station facility.

Overview

Responsibilities

• System Design – develop detailed requirements and define the system architecture, including procurement specifications.
• Technical management of the procurement process, including factory and on‑site tests.
• Integration of subsystems into the overall system architecture and execution of end‑to‑end and onsite tests.
• Development of all relevant documentation: design documents, test plans and procedures, reports.
• Project management: budgeted cost and schedule control.

Requirements

• 3–5 years of experience in antenna / ground‑station equipment and subsystem design.
• Second‑level Master’s degree in Electronic/Telecommunication Engineering.

Technical Skills

• System engineering methodologies.
• Antennas and RF propagation.
• RF and microwave systems.
• Modems and baseband processing.
• Time and frequency systems.
• Problem solving, flexibility.
• Good knowledge of the English language (B2–C1).

Knowledge of satellite missions, satellite control techniques, monitoring and control protocols, antenna measurements and ECSS standards is appreciated.

Place of Work

Rome headquarters. Frequent trips to Saudi Arabia for a specific project.
