Solar Site Manager - Emilia-Romagna, Italy | €300/day | Freelance

We're looking for an experienced Solar Site Manager to take full responsibility for day-to-day operations on a major utility-scale solar project in Emilia-Romagna. This role is hands‑on, site-based, and focused on ensuring that construction activities run safely, efficiently, and in line with project specifications and schedules. Fluency in both English and Italian is essential. Start ASAP.

What You'll Be Doing:

Managing daily site activities and ensuring work progresses according to the construction plan

Coordinating subcontractors, suppliers, and on‑site teams to maintain smooth workflow

Enforcing HSE standards and ensuring the site meets all compliance and safety requirements

Monitoring construction quality, identifying issues early, and implementing corrective actions

Conducting site inspections, toolbox talks, and daily briefings

Tracking progress, maintaining site logs, and providing clear, accurate reporting to project stakeholders

Managing site documentation, permits, and compliance records

Supporting testing, commissioning, and site readiness activities

What You Need:

Proven experience as a Site Manager on utility‑scale solar (PV) projects

Strong understanding of construction methods, site coordination, and safety procedures

Ability to lead teams, solve problems quickly, and maintain a productive and safe site environment

Fluent in English and Italian

Availability for an immediate start
