ISMES SpA, a CESI Company, is seeking a highly qualified Destructive and Non-Destructive Testing Laboratory Director for Construction Materials. The position is based in Perugia and involves managing a testing laboratory specializing in construction materials and building inspections.

Profile

The ideal candidate will be a highly qualified professional with a master's degree in Civil Engineering, Building, or Architecture, with at least 10 years of registration with the professional order. Certification in non-destructive testing (NDE) according to UNI CEI EN ISO / IEC 17024:2012 and experience as an experimenter technician are required.

Main Responsibilities

• Manage and supervise daily laboratory operations in compliance with regulations.
• Plan and coordinate testing activities, ensuring accuracy and regulatory compliance.
• Train and develop laboratory staff.
• Collaborate with business development to identify new opportunities, draft tender documents, and manage customer relationships.
• Implement and oversee quality control systems.

Requirements

• At least ten years of postgraduate experience in building materials testing and inspection.
• Expertise in physical-mechanical characteristics of building materials, reference standards, and machinery operation.
• Documented professional experience and qualifications in line with current regulations.
