Gruppo di Azione Locale Escartons e Valli Valdesiis looking for an IVY volunteer!
The volunteer will support the Interreg project “Alte Valli 2030 - Un bacino di vita montano transfrontaliero - HV2030-PCC”, under the Interreg France-Italy ALCOTRA programme.
The objective of the Interreg project "HV2030 - PCC" is to support the cross‑border territorial strategy Alte Valli 2030, which aims to strengthen governance, functionality, and the recognition of the Alte Valli as a shared mountain and cross‑border living area.
Volunteer responsibilities
The volunteer will be carrying out communication and project's implementation activities:
Strategy Alte Valli 2030
- Collaborating in the creation of connections between project actions and subsequent communication;
- Support the team in the preparation of local events;
- Organising interviews with partners and local actors to give a “face” to the people working on the project;
- Collaborating in creating links between project actions and related communication activities;
- Supporting the team in the preparation of local events
The Strategy Alte Valli 2030 includes in its portfolio of four pilot actions: AGIRE, VIVERE, MUOVERSI, SCOPRIRE that the volunteer will support as well.
VIVERE actions
- Competition aimed at young people in the Alte Valli area, with the aim of recounting the past, present, and future of the cross‑border living area;
- Cross‑border exchanges between schools and between youth organizations;
- Exchanges between conservatories and young musicians and the creation of two Italian‑French orchestras;
- Cross‑border study for the creation of third and regenerative places;
MUOVERSI actions
- Developing carpooling and TAD solutions;
AGIRE actions
- Supporting businesses in responding to climate change (creation of business incubators and antennas);
- Tools for logistics and short supply chains (platform supporting B2B logistics and awareness campaign and experimentation with short supply chains);
- Self‑assessment of small businesses through the ESG score.
Other information
Financial support of: 31.76 euros per day (week‑end and holidays included).
Location: Torre Pellice, Italy.
Start and duration: February, for 6 months.
Languages*: Italian (B2), French (B2), English (A2).
*Please be aware that the languages mentioned are the minimum level of command required.
