For the Veneto, Trentino-Alto-Adige, Friuli-Venezia-Giulia regions and the provinces of Modena, Piacenza, Reggio Emilia and Parma we are recruiting a Medical Scientific Liaison (MSL) Specialty (Nucala) for a maternity substitution.
Responsibilities
- The Medical Scientific Liaison is the medical-scientific expert and reference point for GSK Medical Affairs within the assigned territory, interacting with the Scientific Information Network and external stakeholders (e.g., HCPs, EEs, Payers, Scientific Societies, PAGs), ensuring a high level of knowledge about the assigned products, the therapeutic area, and the external healthcare environment (institutions, competitors).
- Is also a member of the Regional Cross-functional Meeting.
- Provide Medical Advisory support to internal stakeholders (Medical, Commercial, and Marketing) for medical-scientific and promotional purposes to promote knowledge of the product/therapeutic area and the safe, rational, and appropriate use of medicines/vaccines.
- Develop operational interactions and initiatives with external stakeholders for medical-scientific purposes (Scientific Engagement) through:
- Meetings to collect insights from External Experts in the assigned territory
- Meetings for medical-scientific updates on topics covered by Documents of Interest (DOI)
- Scientific meetings for safety alerts or to improve product use appropriateness
- Reactive meetings or responses to specific questions or requests from Healthcare Professionals
- Collaborate with Market Access & Pricing to support access and commercialization in the Regional Health System.
- Collaborate with Clinical Operations to identify Centers/Investigators for sponsored clinical studies, facilitating the Clinical-Medical partnership model and encouraging investigator-sponsored studies (ISS).
- In collaboration with other Medical Affairs roles, contribute to the annual Medical Plan and regional regional medical planning, and identify External Experts for external engagement activities.
- Collaborate with Pharmacovigilance to manage adverse event reports at the regional level, engaging with Healthcare Professionals who reported events as needed.
What You’ll Need
- Basic qualifications
- Degree in scientific disciplines
- Residency in one of the regions of competence
- Knowledge of the reference therapeutic area
- English language proficiency (fluent)
- Ability to work in cross-functional teams
- Preferred qualifications
- Degree in Medicine
- Previous experience as an MSL and/or in other roles within Medical and Scientific Direction
