Responsibilities

Data & Intelligence Business Line NTT DATA is looking for a Lead Data Architect AWS.

Your role as a Lead Data Architect AWS will be to:

  • Manage Key Clients
  • Manage the relationships with AWS
  • Manage the AWS Center of Excellence
  • Lead Data & Analytics AWS projects
  • Support Recruitment
  • Support Value Proposition
  • Support Development of skills and capabilities, such as:
  • Design Data Platform on AWS data store such as Redshift, DynamoDB, RDS, S3
  • Design operations architecture and conduct performance engineering for large-scale data lakes in production environment
  • Apply the Well-architected framework to the solution design and implementation
  • Create and maintain optimal data pipeline architecture by designing and implementing data ingestion solutions on AWS using AWS native services (such as GLUE, Lambda) or data management technologies (such as Talend or Informatica)
  • Participate in client design workshops and provide tradeoffs and recommendations towards building solutions.
  • Mentor other engineers in coding best practices and problem solving

Required Skills

  • Proven experience in the field of data analytics, preferably from consulting companies
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience managing a team of BI/data analysts up to senior level
  • Working experience in AWS cloud native environment
  • Experience and knowledge of Big Data Architectures, both cloud and on-premise
  • AWS infrastructure and networking experience
  • AWS Collection Services: Kinesis, Kafka, Database Migration Service
  • AWS Storage Services: S3, RDS, Redshift, DynamoDB
  • AWS Compute Services: EC2, Lambda, ECS, EKS
  • Experience in building and delivering proofs-of-concept to address specific business needs, using appropriate techniques, data sources, and technologies
  • Experience migrating workloads from on-premise to cloud environment
  • Experience monitoring distributed infrastructure, using AWS tools or open source tools such as CloudWatch, Prometheus, and the ELK stack
  • Experience working with Agile Methodology and Kanban
  • Strong data manipulation and BI tools skills
  • Solid stakeholder management skills, with experience dealing with top management to drive projects
  • Proactive initiative-taking, exceptional problem-solving skills, and ability to manage cross-functional teams in a collaborative environment
