DXC Technologyis seeking a Technical Consultant to join our Reinsurance Center of Excellence.

This role is pivotal in delivering high-impact solutions across our global reinsurance platforms, including DXC Assure Reinsuranceand SICS.

Responsibilities

Lead technical architecture and infrastructure setup for reinsurance implementations.

Provide guidance on API integration, data migration, and cloud hosting (AWS or Microsoft Azure).

Implement, deploy, and maintain DXC software on-premise or in SaaS environments for clients.

Support business intelligence reporting and analytics development.

Analyse customer workflows to propose improvements and translate business needs into detailed technical specifications.

Design and implement changes to enhance efficiency, reduce costs, and improve data accuracy.

Manage databases for data manipulation, reporting, and optimization.

Develop and execute test cases to validate system functionality and ensure data integrity.

Prepare comprehensive documentation, including workflows, user guides, and technical specifications.

Education & Skills

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree (preferably in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related technical field) - or equivalent experience.

Fluency in English(written and spoken) is essential.

Strong experience with relational databases: MS SQL Server, PostgreSQL, Oracle.

Proficiency in programming languages: Java, Python.

Familiarity with DevOps and containerisation tools - is nice to have: Jenkins, GitLab CI, Docker, Kubernetes.

Knowledge of automation tools and techniquesto improve internal and client processes.

Understanding of AI and Gen AIto enhance delivery efficiency.

Experience with reporting and integration tools: SAP BI, Pentaho, Talend, Jira, Apache Tomcat, MS PowerBI, MS PowerApps.

Location: Bari with remote work possibility.
