As a Production Planner, you will join the Fabrication Control Management (FABCOM) Department within the ABSER Business Line. Your responsibilities include:

During bidding phase :

• Support defining procurement and fabrication strategies, project schedules, and manhours estimation based on bidding documentation and data analysis.

At Project start-up :

• Assist in releasing project schedules related to fabrication activities and defining engineering and procurement deliverable dates.
• Contribute to the preparation of Work Breakdown Structure (WBS) and ensure the issuance of estimated man-hours.

During Project Execution :

• Ensure cyclic man-hours preparation and operative planning (work-pack issuance).
• Monitor actual man-hours vs. planned, producing ETC (Estimate To Complete) analysis.
• Support decision-making on project modifications (e.g., acceleration, recovery, rescheduling) by providing qualitative and quantitative analyses.
• Ensure timely upload of project data (schedule, material take-off, welding list, process orders, etc.) and feedback into the yard management system.
• Promote continuous improvement in operational matters.
• Coordinate pre-fabrication and fabrication activities to manage workload and manpower saturation.
• Develop multi-project production plans to evaluate manpower and external resources.
• Ensure the issuance of the project execution plan.
• Assess time and cost impacts of subcontractor claims.

QUALIFICATIONS : Master’s Degree in Management, Industrial, Manufacturing, or Mechanical Engineering.

KNOWLEDGE OF ENGLISH LANGUAGE : B2 / C1 proficiency.

LABOUR RELATIONSHIP : Permanent contract.

YEARS OF EXPERIENCE : Minimum 4-7 years in production planning.

IT SKILLS : Advanced MS Office.

SOFT SKILLS :

• Problem solving;
• Ability to work independently and in teams;
• Flexibility and willingness to work on offshore rotations at national and international sites.

LOCATION : Willing to relocate worldwide or work remotely.
