Product Design Assistant – Furniture
About the role
We are seeking a talented Product Design Assistant - Furniture to join our dynamic team at PT. Kreatif Abadi Konsep in Badung, Bali. As a fulltime member of our Manufacturing & Design division, you will play a vital role in supporting our furniture product design and development processes.
What you’ll be doing
- Assisting with the conceptualization and design of new furniture products
- Developing technical drawings, sketches, and 3D models to bring design ideas to life
- Collaborating closely with the design and production teams to ensure designs are feasible and meet quality standards
- Researching market trends, customer preferences, and competitor products to inform the design process
- Providing support throughout the entire product development lifecycle, from initial concept to final production
- Maintaining detailed records and documentation related to product designs
What we’re looking for
- A Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in industrial design, product design, or a related field
- 1–2 years of experience in a furniture design or product design role, preferably in a manufacturing environment
- Proficiency in design software such as AutoCAD, Solidworks, and Adobe Creative Suite
- Strong technical drawing and 3D modelling skills
- Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving abilities
- Passion for furniture design and a keen interest in the latest industry trends
- Strong collaboration and communication skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams
