Job Description

This is a full-time on-site role for an Engineer/CAD Designer, located in San Bonifacio, Verona, Italy. The Designer will be responsible for developing detailed 3D models and 2D drawings using SolidWorks and CAD software, as modifying and revising old designs. Other tasks will include collaborating with technicians and manufacturers, to produce technical drawings and documentation for suppliers, including for boiler elements and for custom-made components. The Designer would also stay up to date with CAD technologies and integrating these new tools and methods to improve designs and production. The Designer will report directly to the Managing Director.

Responsibilities

• Drawing of cast iron boiler elements, according to the advice of the technical manager
• Drawing of boiler casing
• Design of assemblies with integration of standard elements
• Establishment of bills of material and exploded views
• Draft of technical instructions
• Purchase and installation of new machines
• Flow optimization
• Ensure the follow-up and compliance with the quality policy desired by management

Qualifications

• The candidate must have at least 5 years of experience in a similar role within manufacturing and/or the heating industry.
• A bachelor\'s degree in Mechanical Engineering
• Proven experience with CAD software including SolidWorks and AutoCAD.
• A strong understanding of manufacturing and material processes is essential.
• Solid experience in creating mechanical drawings and technical documentation for suppliers and the production team
• Good general electro-mechanical knowledge
• Should demonstrate a strong problem-solving mindset, a willingness to contribute to continuous improvement initiatives, and a keen eye for detail
• Fluency in both English and Italian
• The selected candidate will be trained internally on all aforementioned tasks by an experienced colleague within the company to ensure a smooth integration into the role and team.
