MISSION

As part of the development of our entity Abylsen Italy, specialized in Transport (automotive, aeronautics, defense, space and rail), Heavy Industry (metallurgy, steel plant), Energy and IT, we are looking for a Mechatronics Engineer in the Aerospace & Defence sector to integrate our team of consultants and bring their expertise on all our projects.

ACTIVITIES

  • Take over in the post-design phase, following the subsequent phases: integration, system testing, final qualification.
  • Integration activities: assemble the unit with the other satcom subsystems.
  • System-level testing: perform functional and performance tests to verify that the motors respond correctly to commands and comply with specifications.
  • Qualification: participate in system certification/validation tests (e.g. environmental, vibration, thermal, EMC).
  • Motor retuning: during integration, it will be necessary to adjust/optimise the motor control parameters to achieve the desired performance.

REQUIREMENTS

  • Mandatory knowledge of motor control technology (drivers, control loops, parameter tuning)
  • Nice to have: Experience in integrating and testing complex systems (mechatronic/electronic)
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Automation & Control Engineering or related field

OTHER INFORMATION

  • Full presence with 1 day of smart working per week
  • European nationality is required to work on Defence systems
