Job Overview
The Salesforce Technical Lead plays a key role in the Lead to Order unit, focusing on the Order Management platform and working closely with the Head of Order Management, business stakeholders, Enterprise Design and IT teams to guide digital transformation of Salesforce platforms, defining the ‘why and how’ that drives solution success.
The mission of the Order Management team is to manage evolutions and maintenance of the IT platforms dedicated to LEO and GEO connectivity and video service management allowing Eutelsat and its partners (wholesalers and resellers) to sell and manage services worldwide.
The Salesforce Technical Lead will be responsible for the technical solutions and implementations of the platforms in scope of the Order Management delivery team, built upon a distributed architecture using mainly Salesforce (Sales Cloud, Services Cloud, Experience Cloud, Pardot, Marketing Cloud) and Zuora or Conga (product catalogue and CPQ) integrated with multiple IT systems.

Key Responsibilities
- Act as the Technical Lead of the Order Management platforms built on Salesforce, being single point of contact for implementation and development strategy.
- Analyse and review platform architecture, recommend improvements and evolutions ensuring optimal performance.
- Help the team implement solutions following best practices, arbitrate between click and code solutions, and build proofs‑of‑concept.
- Partner with cross‑functional teams to design and implement best‑in‑class processes, enhancing operational efficiency and customer satisfaction.
- Actively shape specifications for enhancements and new features at demand assessment stage.
- Ensure efficient communication between Order Management team and other IT and Business teams.
- Manage external suppliers and push them towards delivery excellence.
- Support monitoring activities and maintenance tasks, including diagnostic tests.
Key Skills and Qualifications
- + 3 years experience as Salesforce Architect/Tech Lead in a similar environment.
- Proven experience in one or more Salesforce Product Technologies; certifications strongly recommended.
- Experience with Conga or Zuora products is a plus.
- Proven experience implementing technical architecture for complex large‑scale projects and leading software delivery teams working with external suppliers.
- Knowledge of Order Management journeys and associated capabilities.
- Experience in telecom and satellite systems.
- Tools‑based scaled Agile delivery and DevOps experience.
- ITIL certification is a plus.
- Global compliance, security standards and data protection awareness.
- Ability to work in dynamic, complex international environment with pro‑activity and flexibility.
- Excellent communication & relationship‑building skills.
- Full proficiency in English; other languages (French, Italian) a plus.
- Degree in computer science, computer engineering or equivalent.
