About the position
The Consolidation Accountant, reporting will ensure accurate, compliant, and timely consolidated financial reporting for the Group. The role strengthens the Group Finance function by managing intercompany reconciliations, consolidation entries, and supporting the preparation of IFRS‑EU consolidated financial statements. This position contributes to business continuity, process efficiency, and audit readiness in a complex multi‑entity, multi‑jurisdiction environment.
Responsibilities
- Consolidation & Quality Assurance: Review consolidation entries, intercompany reconciliations, and bundle entries to ensure accuracy and compliance.
- System Support: Assist in the administration and user support of consolidation systems.
- Documentation: Create and maintain clear documentation for consolidation journals and supporting schedules.
- Financial Statements: Support the preparation and drafting of consolidated financial statements under IFRS‑EU.
- Process Improvement: Identify and resolve legacy issues, optimize workflows, and implement best practices.
- Stakeholder Support: Provide guidance and training to local finance teams and stakeholders.
- Business Continuity: Serve as backup coverage in critical consolidation processes to safeguard operations.
What do you bring
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
- Minimum 5 years of professional accounting experience, ideally in Consolidation or GL roles, preferably within an international environment
- Solid understanding of IFRS and its application to financial reporting
- Strong knowledge of Consolidation principles
- Knowledge in ERP systems (S4Hana is a plus)
- Fluency in English (written and spoken)
