This position is based at our Luxembourg headquarters and requires regular office presence. The EIB offers you the opportunity to live and work in a truly international and multi‑cultural environment.
Duration: 5 months (fixed start date: 1st March/April 2026) (With possible extension up to 6 months if required by University)
Eligibility: Only applicants who are nationals of EU Member States or citizens of countries that have been officially granted candidate status to join the EU (Albania, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Georgia, Moldova, Montenegro, North Macedonia, Serbia, Turkey, Ukraine) will be considered. Candidates whose Erasmus+ programme overlaps with the duration of the traineeship will not be considered. Only the first three applications per candidate will be retained.
Objective of the traineeship: Critical Raw Materials (CRMs) are crucial for the digital and green transitions. You will support the Bank’s internal team in consolidating knowledge on CRMs, providing background research on market, supply chain and technology trends, and analysing the Bank’s investment potential for future projects.
