About the Role
Planet Pharma is partnered with a leading global full-service CRO, currently hiring a dynamic and experienced Director of Business Development to join their team!
Main Responsibilities
- Proactively identify and evaluate potential business opportunities in Italy.
- Cultivate strong relationships with key stakeholders through regular in-person engagement.
- Gain a deep understanding of clients’ challenges and structures to create practical account strategies.
- Help improve the company’s business development strategy by refining target markets, optimizing sales efficiency, and boosting conversion rates.
- Drive revenue growth by consistently surpassing sales targets aligned with company goals.
Main Requirements
- Over 6 years of experience in sales and account management, specifically within full-service CRO sales.
- Well-connected with key decision-makers in the life sciences sector.
- Skilled in engaging and influencing senior executives and C-suite leaders.
- Demonstrated success in negotiating and closing complex deals.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with strong presentation and persuasion abilities.
- Adept at identifying client challenges and delivering swift, strategic solutions.
- Highly organized and deadline-oriented, capable of managing multiple sales stages concurrently.
- Holds a BA, MBA, or equivalent relevant experience.
