Transart is one of Europe’s leading contemporary culture festivals, known for over 20 years for its experimental, multidisciplinary, and multimedia approach. Every September, the festival activates unconventional spaces across the region through international collaborations and innovative artistic projects.
We are looking for a strategic, creative, and experienced communication professional to shape and coordinate the festival’s communication identity. The ideal candidate combines artistic sensitivity with strong expertise in cultural communication, and can work independently while engaging closely with the team and festival management.
Main Tasks
- Develop and implement the annual communication strategy (online & offline)
- Manage the communication budget and optimise investments
- Coordinate visual identity, tone of voice, and collaboration with design studios
- Supervise press office, media relations, and creation of promotional materials
- Maintain strong relationships with sponsors, partners, institutions, and stakeholders
- Write communication texts, promotional content, and materials for fundraising
- Plan event-specific communication to boost attendance and engagement
- Oversee analysis and reporting of communication performance
- Coordinate the communication team and external creatives
- Support ticketing communication and internal reporting
Required Qualifications
- Proven experience in cultural communication (festivals, performing arts, contemporary arts preferred)
- Strategic thinking, strong organisational skills, and attention to detail
- Excellent command of German and Italian (spoken and written), very good English
- Strong writing skills and proficiency with digital tools and social media
- Ability to work in multidisciplinary, fast-paced environments
- Sensitivity to experimental and interdisciplinary artistic practices
- Knowledge of the local cultural ecosystem is a plus

Period and Work Location
The collaboration is set to begin in February 2026 and involves a 75% part-time commitment throughout the year, with a full-time period from July to September. The workplace is located at the Transart office, Via Dante 28, Bolzano.
