We are recruiting a Legal Counsel Channel to join our Global Legal Team and be responsible for providing legal and compliance support to our Italy operations.

How you will contribute :

You will be responsible for delivering legal, regulatory, and compliance services. You will operate as a key business partner to provide strategic support and advice, working on a wide range of commercial and compliance matters with a focus on our Channel (indirect) Business. Your responsibilities include :

  • Preparing and reviewing contracts and terms and conditions, supporting negotiations
  • Preparing templates
  • Providing claims support and overseeing litigations
  • Helping to ensure compliance with applicable laws and Group policies
  • Providing training and facilitating our compliance programs
  • Monitoring and implementing regulatory requirements
  • Other local legal support as reasonably required by Legal Management

Your profile

We seek someone comfortable working in a digital environment, passionate about social justice and sustainability. The ideal candidate has a proven track record in an in-house environment, with the ability to work proactively and closely with business stakeholders to identify and analyze critical issues, applying legal expertise to deliver solutions.

You should have excellent legal and communication skills and be :

  • A qualified lawyer with a Master of Laws degree or equivalent and at least four years' relevant PQE in commercial law (preferably in Hi-tech, Oil & Energy, Construction, or Renewables & Environment sectors).
  • Fluent in English with strong technological skills
  • Confident, with excellent interpersonal skills, commercially minded, highly organized, and able to work effectively in teams
  • Able to work independently and manage large volumes of work
