Responsibilities

Data Intelligence is NTT DATA Italy's area focused on extracting value from data, consisting of about 600 internal resources plus a network of selected partners.

The activities include:

• Data Management
• Data Visualization
• Advanced Analytics
• Big Data

The position is open to different seniority levels, from profiles with at least 2 years of specific experience to more senior roles (data engineer/architect/middle management).

Depending on seniority, the candidate will:

• Analyze, design, and implement complex applications based on Big Data technologies in a team setting
• Assess impacts and estimate effort (time and costs) for new applications
• Support in designing and defining technological choices considering the application context
• Interface with various stakeholders (developers, project managers, clients)

Required Skills

Candidates should have at least 2 years of experience in the following areas:

• Experience with Cloud environments (AWS, Google Cloud Platform, Microsoft Azure, etc.)
• Strong knowledge of Apache Spark/Spark Streaming, Apache Kafka, and NoSQL databases (Apache Cassandra, MongoDB, HBase, SOLR)
• Proficiency in SQL
• Proven experience in application development using object-oriented languages (Java, Python, Scala)
• Experience with distributed filesystem HDFS
• Experience with tools like Apache Hive, Flume, Sqoop, Oozie, Zeppelin, Elastic Stack
• Experience configuring platforms such as Cloudera, Kubernetes
• Experience developing systems based on RESTful APIs
