The Amazon Web Services Professional Services (ProServe) team is seeking an experienced Delivery Practice Manager (DPM) to join our ProServe Shared Delivery Team (SDT) at Amazon Web Services (AWS). In this role, you'll manage a team of ProServe Delivery Consultants while supporting AWS enterprise customers through transformative projects. You'll leverage your IT and/or Management Consulting background to serve as a strategic advisor to customers, partners, and internal AWS teams.
As a DPM you will build and manage a team of Delivery Consultants and Engagement Managers who architect and implement innovative solutions for customers and partners. You’ll routinely engage with directors, C‑level executives, and governing boards, capture opportunities, and drive engagement delivery. Working closely with partner teams, you will lead business development initiatives through thought leadership, provide portfolio guidance and oversight, and meet and exceed customer satisfaction targets. Your primary focus will be on understanding and defining business outcomes for customers, building trust, identifying applicable AWS Professional Services offerings, and creating proposals and SOWs.
Your experience leading teams within the technology sector will enable you to optimize performance through people‑development plans, align teams to customer needs, and ensure the skills and capacity required to achieve customer outcomes. You will translate technical concepts into business value, communicate with deep technical depth, and cultivate strong relationships with customers, Amazon Global Sales, and ProServe teams. DPM success is measured by consistently delivering customer engagements on time, within budget, and beyond expectations while driving the practice’s utilization and P&L goals.
All candidates must possess and maintain an active TS/SCI security clearance, and after hiring must be able to obtain and maintain a TS/SCI clearance with polygraph or equivalent for any government agency you support.
The base salary range for this position is listed below. For salaried roles, your Amazon package will include sign‑on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation will be determined based on experience, qualifications, and location. Colorado $175,100 - $236,900 annually
National $142,300 - $272,400 annually
