This role supports technology pathfinding and execution through comprehensive modeling throughout the product lifecycle. Key responsibilities include:

  • Data analysis and collection from real converter measurements
  • Simplified electrical modeling of converters
  • Setup of automatic measurements (automation)
  • Supporting new product definitions
  • Studying new topologies
  • Providing PCB design suggestions, including component placement and layout

Qualifications

  • Deep technical expertise in high-performance power converters
  • Over 5-10 years of experience in design, development, and testing of high and low voltage power converters
  • Strong knowledge of control loop implementation, resonant power converter techniques, magnetic component design, and new product development
  • Excellent technical communication skills and broad technical exposure
  • Typically 15-20 years of relevant semiconductor and system experience
  • MS degree in engineering (EE – power electronics preferred); experience with simulation tools like PYTHON is a plus
