Are you experienced with at least one of the three hyperscalers: Microsoft Azure, Amazon Web Services, or Google Cloud?
Do you excel in customer consulting and implementing innovative architectures?
If yes, then adesso is the right place for you!
As a Technical Cloud Consultant, you will advise customers based on at least one of the hyperscalers and be responsible for implementing innovative cloud architectures. You will translate customer requirements into modern, cloud-based solutions and serve as the link between the customer's cloud team and their Fachbereiche (specialist departments).
You will have a significant influence on the entire cloud project, from defining the strategy to implementation and acceptance. Your solution-oriented ideas will contribute to the effective and efficient achievement of our customers' and our team's goals.
Your specific responsibilities include:
- Identifying automation potentials in customer-specific processes and implementing them using cloud services (primarily IaaS or PaaS).
- Supporting customer projects with agile methodologies during implementation, testing, and go-live phases.
- Realizing flexible architectures in agile teams using automation tools like Terraform or Azure DevOps Pipelines, driven by a cloud mindset.
- Supporting the project team and sharing your knowledge about technologies and best practices.
- Contributing your experience to proposal processes.
- Actively participating in our cloud community and supporting portfolio development.
- Having a degree or training in IT or comparable experience.
- Being well-versed in the technical implementation of cloud infrastructure solutions (especially IaaS and PaaS with Terraform), familiar with scripting languages (e.g., PowerShell or Bash), and enthusiastic about building cloud solutions.
- Being familiar with Git and CI/CD tools (e.g., Azure DevOps or GitHub) and comfortable working within agile frameworks like SCRUM.
- Ideally, having experience with virtualization (e.g., VMWare or HyperV) and microservice architectures using containers (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes, or OpenShift).
- Possessing relevant cloud certifications (e.g., Azure Administrator Associate or Google Cloud Engineer) to demonstrate your expertise.
- Being customer-oriented, communicative, a team player, and maintaining a professional appearance.
