IT Security Specialist (m/f/d)

As a key member of our expanding IT security team in a dynamic, fast-growing environment, you will play a vital role in enhancing and evolving existing security measures, supporting the implementation of new systems, and establishing IT security processes. Your efforts will be crucial in fostering a culture of security awareness among colleagues. Your expertise will have a direct and meaningful impact on safeguarding our organization, ensuring the safety and integrity of our digital infrastructure, and our values.

Your Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and enhance IT security measures across endpoints (MDR), networks, servers, and cloud services in collaboration with other IT departments in a complex multi-location, multi-tenant environment.
• Review and improve existing and planned security measures.
• Analyze and detect vulnerabilities and threats.
• Manage security incidents effectively.
• Implement, establish, and manage IT security processes and guidelines.
• Raise awareness of the importance of IT security among colleagues.
• Conceive and implement awareness and training measures.
• Develop a cybersecurity strategy in cooperation with the team lead, InfoSec.
• Qualifications: Degree in IT security, computer science, technical computer science, or a comparable field.
• Minimum of 3 years of professional experience in IT security.
• Deep knowledge of network security, security architectures, and information security.
• Fluent in English; German language skills are beneficial.
• Availability to work mainly on-site.

Beneficial Skills

• Experience with IT security frameworks (ISO27001, IT Grundschutz, Tisax).
• Experience with IEEE 802.1X.
