Senior Supplier Quality Engineer

Manage raw material suppliers’ quality. Perform supplier selection/ qualification including risk assessments and audits. Improve supplier performance. Provide technical supports to IQC staffs, UPE, suppliers and concerns to resolve supplier quality issue. Create and maintain supplier quality control specifications.

Job Description
In your new role you will:

• Support PUR/DEV and UPE function in F1 raw material suppliers’ qualification for NPI & NLoP projects and FAI.
• Sustain F1 raw material supplier quality (MRB, SCAR/ supplier’s complaint, FAR and supplier PCN).
• Develop F1 raw material supplier quality.
• Coordinate F1 raw material supplier quality issues (MRB, SCAR & FAR) with IQC, UPE.
• Work with Assembly team on quality deviations ie., 8D FAR/ DDM/MRB/SCAR/ local site escalation/ quarantine material/ ground work.
• Manage resources to support incoming inspection of F1 materials (production, engineering and FAI).
• Identify, select, harmonize and implement BPI for site specific.
• Be key contact account SQM for the assigned suppliers.
• Support site/segments during customer audit (new business or verification) and supplier audit (execution and follow-up finding & action).
• Conduct and participate internal audit program, including quality system audit and corporate social responsibility audit, is adopted and planned to verify the conformance to planned arrangements and is effectively implemented and maintained. Ensure that appropriate action is taken when this is not the case.

Your Profile
You are best equipped for this task if you have:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in any Engineering field (Electrical,Mechanical, Electronics, Industrial), Physics or Material Science
• Minimum 0-5 years experiences in Quality field (QA, QE) or Process engineering function
• Knowledge of manufacturing process
• Strong systematic thinking, good attitude and understanding of Problem solving skills (such as PDCA, 8D report, FMEA, MSA and SPC)
• Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, customers and engineering team members
• Good English communication and presentation skills
