Location: Germany, Switzerland or Austria (Remote with some travel)

Reports to: SVP Global Sales

Your Mission

As Director of Business Development for the DACH region, you’ll be the face of the business to some of Europe’s most influential organizations. The mission is to acquire net new business and build lasting partnerships with senior leaders in communications, corporate affairs, brand, and sustainability — helping them harness the power of reputation to drive business results.

This is a hands-on, high-impact role for someone who thrives in fast-paced environments, knows how to win trust in the C-suite, and isn’t afraid to roll up their sleeves to close a deal.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Hunting for Opportunity: Identify and engage new enterprise prospects across the DACH region, focusing on key industries such as Financial Services, Consumer Goods, Pharma, and Tech.
  • Building Relationships: Cultivate strong connections with senior stakeholders in Communications, Brand, and ESG, positioning the business as a trusted advisor.
  • Selling Smart: Deliver compelling consultative sales pitches based on insights, data, and a deep understanding of reputation management.
  • Managing Pipeline: Own and drive the full sales cycle—from lead generation and qualification through to contract negotiation and handoff to Customer Success.
  • Growing Regional Presence: Attend industry events, conferences, and webinars to build awareness and credibility in the region.

What We’re Looking For

  • Proven Experience: 7–10+ years in B2B sales or business development, with a focus on Reputation / Communications, or related strategic advisory services.
  • Regional Expertise: Strong knowledge of the DACH market, with existing networks in the corporate communications and C-suite landscape.
  • Strategic Mindset: Able to understand complex business challenges and articulate how reputation insights can drive transformation.
  • Results-Driven: A track record of exceeding sales targets and landing enterprise-level deals.
  • Fluent Communicator: Native or fluent German speaker with excellent English; clear, confident, and persuasive in both languages.
  • Self-Starter: Comfortable working independently while collaborating with global cross-functional teams.
