SALES LEADER – Part-Time

We are looking for part-time Sales Leaders who are enthusiastic, energetic, friendly, and hard-working!

The Sales Leader is responsible for providing exemplary selling and customer service to improve store productivity and profitability. Responsibilities include offering product recommendations, serving as a role model for retail best practices, and focusing on sales, service, and relationship-building. The role also involves sharing product knowledge, managing daily tasks assigned by the Store Manager/Assistant Store Manager, including opening and/or closing the store, inventory management, stocking, housekeeping, and assisting with stockroom duties. The Sales Leader works closely with the corporate store team and reports directly to the Store Manager.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS Include, But Are Not Limited To

  1. Creating a welcoming shopping environment.
  2. Sharing expertise on products, promotions, and rewards programs tailored to customer needs.
  3. Supporting store management and team.
  4. Helping customers find suitable card and gift solutions.
  5. Sharing stories and community initiatives to promote kindness.
  6. Handling store operations such as replenishment, merchandising, sales, shipments, inventory, and order fulfillment.
  7. Delivering an inspiring shopping experience.
  8. Working with the team to meet sales goals.
  9. Upholding company policies.
  10. Performing other duties or projects as assigned.

Requirements

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • At least 1 year of retail, sales, or customer service experience.
  • Must be 18 or older.
  • Ability to open and close the store at least three times a week and work two weekend shifts per month.
  • Flexible schedule including evenings, holidays, and weekends.
  • Proof of legal eligibility to work in the U.S.

Preferred Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Two or more years in retail, sales, or customer service.

Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities

  • Strong customer engagement and consultative selling skills.
  • Effective communication with customers and staff.
  • Adaptability, computer proficiency, and willingness to learn.
  • Accountability for cash and product assets.
  • Ability to train new employees and understand policies and procedures.

WORKING CONDITIONS & PHYSICAL DEMANDS

  • Standing, walking, lifting up to 50 pounds, and other physical activities required.
  • Exposure to dust, cleaning agents, noise, and work at heights occasionally.
  • Continuous communication with customers and team members.

EMPLOYMENT STATUS

This is a part-time, hourly, non-exempt position, typically 10-28 hours per week.
