Summary

We are looking for a “System Engineer for Software Requirements and Product Development (f/m/d)” for the “Ground Based Systems - ISTAR Solutions” division at the Oberkochen site, Aalen branch, as soon as possible.

The “Ground Based Systems - ISTAR Solutions” department is responsible for handling national and international customer projects as well as internal development projects for networked sensor solutions for land vehicles and for complete solutions for land vehicles. The sensor data generated by the networked sensor solutions is to be automatically evaluated and merged in order to provide users with a comprehensive understanding of the situation.
The division is responsible for the CERETRON software product for this purpose.

Your Tasks

• Responsibility as key stakeholder and product owner for the entire software development, including concept creation, implementation and validation in the areas of functional safety and IT security.
• Creation, coordination and management of requirements in specifications as well as definition and communication of release content based on the product roadmap with relevant stakeholders.
• Responsibility for technical aspects of tender submissions and assessing the feasibility of technical requirements, including IT system concepts and networks.

Willingness to travel nationally and internationally.

Your Profile

• Degree in engineering, computer science or comparable qualification.
• Many years of experience in requirements management and software development.
• In-depth knowledge of functional safety and IT security is an advantage.
• Several years of experience in data fusion, data analysis, data transmission and communication technologies advantageous.
• In-depth knowledge of SCRUM-based procedures.
• Proactive way of working and goal-oriented approach.
• Strong ability to work in and with cross-functional and international teams.
• Very good knowledge of English.
