Institute for Intelligent Biotechnologies (iBIO) develops and implements tools to analyze biological samples' 3D structure and molecular identity. We are offering an exciting
Bachelor's or Master's thesis project for a motivated student (f/m/x) with a background in the life sciences. You will contribute to a research project focused on uncovering early, whole-body biological changes induced by smoking.
Your tasks- Whole-body immunolabelling and tissue clearing
- 3D imaging and image analysis
- Proteomics sample preparation
- Cryosectioning and laser capture microdissection
- Basic immunofluorescence staining
Your profile- Enrolled in a Bachelor's or Master's program in Biology, Biochemistry, Biomedical Sciences, or a related field
- Prior lab experience in tissue handling and immunostaining
- A structured, reliable, and independent work style
- A strong team player with enthusiasm for interdisciplinary science
This position has a fixed term, depending on the requirements of your study program.
