General Summary:

Qualcomm is recruiting a Senior Account Manager for the Industrial and IoT account team in EMEA. This role offers a unique opportunity for a motivated individual to join during a growth phase, managing accounts with a focus on Industrial IoT. Responsibilities include overseeing logistics and supply chain aspects for business expansion, engaging with legal and business frameworks, and developing a broad understanding of Qualcomm’s Industrial IoT portfolio.

The role entails full commercial responsibility for a major industrial account in Italy.

The successful candidate will work in a dynamic environment with opportunities for personal growth and career advancement within Qualcomm’s rapidly expanding business.

Tasks:

  • Lead a portfolio of existing projects and opportunities worldwide, working in an international environment.
  • Identify new business opportunities within Industrial IoT segments.
  • Develop and maintain a network at the customer level for early visibility of opportunities.
  • Support RFQ and design-in processes, negotiate prices, and drive commercial agreements.
  • Set up projects and manage their commercial aspects, including legal frameworks and milestones.
  • Provide commercial support to engineering teams for tools, services, and governance.
  • Support logistics, samples, production ramp-ups, and forecasting processes.
  • Manage account governance and pursue sales goals, especially for RFFE products.
  • Build and maintain customer relationships at all levels.
  • Conduct regular customer visits and online conferences for technical advice, offers, negotiations, and quality management.

Profile:

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering or similar.
  • 7-15 years of experience in semiconductor sales, account management, or business development.
  • Strong interpersonal, communication, and negotiation skills in English; German is preferred.
  • Ability to explain complex technical content convincingly.
  • Autonomous work style, with the ability to prioritize effectively.
  • Experience with legal and financial sales processes.
  • Flexibility, motivation, customer focus, and strong networking skills.
  • Excellent communication and management skills, with willingness to travel.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree with 6+ years of relevant experience, or
  • Associate’s degree with 8+ years, or
  • High school diploma with 10+ years of relevant experience.

Note: Advanced degrees can substitute for work experience (Master’s = 1 year, Doctorate = 2 years).
