Übersicht

• Ensuring the smooth and timely processing of export shipments
• Optimizing and ensuring the documentation of procedures and processes
• Maintenance and further development of customer relationships as well as acquisition of new customers

Verantwortungsbereiche

• Management, organization, and coordination of the export department
• Optimization of processes and procedures
• Securing a high level of customer satisfaction while complying with customer-specific processes and procedures
• Customer support and consulting as well as acquisition of new customers
• Leading, supporting, evaluating, and training employees
• Management of the export department in organizational and technical terms
• Bookings of air cargo shipments with the airlines
• Supporting and advising customers
• Preparation of calculations and analyses as well as presentations
• Carrying out customs clearance
• Handling correspondence with customers, agents, and service providers
• Organization of different transports
• Conducting negotiation and sales meetings

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor’s degree or a completed commercial training in freight forwarding
• Completed education in freight forwarding or in business administration
• Working experience in international freight forwarding
• Experience in commercial assistance is an advantage
• Fluent oral and written German and English is a must
• Additional (major) European languages would be an asset
• Strong PC skills (Windows, Microsoft Office applications) preferred
