In cooperation with UNICEF, the Akelius learning application.

Currently, the language course is available in Spanish, German, Portuguese, Russian, Polish, and Arabic.

You can be based in our Berlin office.

Key Responsibilities

1. Create online and analog material for the Portuguese language course for web and mobile applications in a professional agile team.
2. Translate and adapt the master English version into Portuguese.
3. Design and develop language-specific grammar lessons.
4. Draft lessons using an authoring tool.
5. Keep all project documentation up to date.
6. Support the team with quality assurance tasks.
7. Translate learning materials such as easy-to-read books and workbooks.
8. Be the voice-over artist for Portuguese.
9. Depending on workload and project priorities, additional tasks may be assigned.

Requirements

1. Expert user of Portuguese.
2. Working knowledge of the MS Office suite.
3. Flexible and creative.
4. Self-motivated and organized.
5. Previous experience as a translator or teaching a language as a second language is a plus.
6. Experience with an online authoring tool is a plus.
7. Speaking any other language available as a course is an advantage.
