In order to expand our R&D Team in Viersen, Germany, we are looking for a:

Laboratory Technician (m/f/d)

fulltime, limited (2 Years) and as soon as possible.

BRIEF DESCRIPTION

  • Sample preparation and analysis (chemical, organic, and inorganic analysis)
  • Examination of water, product, and solid samples according to prescribed analysis methods (IC, GPC, GC, ICP-OES, FTIR, SEM-EDX, etc.)
  • Close collaboration with our sales and research departments
  • Management and maintenance of customer-related data, independent documentation
  • Assistance in method development and implementation of new methods
  • Monitoring and maintenance of analytical systems
  • Maintenance and calibration of testing equipment used
  • Application of quality assurance procedures
  • Assisting and overseeing projects
  • Supporting external quality and safety audits

TECHNICAL REQUIREMENTS

  • Successfully completed training as a Chemical Laboratory Technician, Chemical-Technical Assistant, or equivalent qualification
  • Several years of professional experience in the field of analytics is advantageous
  • Ideally, knowledge of instrumental analysis, particularly chromatographic and spectroscopic methods
  • German language skills advantageous and very good English language skills, both written and spoken
  • Proficient in the use of MS Office applications.
