Role Overview
We are seeking an Energy and Sustainability Services Marketing Manager for our SI Building Business Unit within the SI Marketing team. This role involves creating global marketing strategies and content targeting Building and Industry customers, reporting to the Head of Marketing for Verticals & Sustainability at Siemens Smart Infrastructure.
Your Responsibilities
- Develop and manage the marketing plan for SUS, including metrics and budget, in collaboration with various teams.
- Align planning with the overall Go-to-Market strategy.
- Define value propositions and strategic narratives to position the portfolio.
- Lead the creation of customer-centric content for digital assets, sales tools, whitepapers, and events.
- Use market, customer, and competitive insights to inform strategies and conduct research as needed.
- Stay updated on industry trends and bring innovative ideas to the team.
- Translate marketing strategies into campaigns and tactics across countries and teams.
- Position Siemens Xcelerator and identify growth opportunities.
- Apply best practices and benchmarking in marketing activities.
Your Profile
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering; MBA is a plus.
- At least 7 years of experience in Marketing, Strategy, Energy Engineering, or Management Consulting.
- Knowledge of energy and sustainability trends, including energy management and carbon reduction strategies.
- Understanding of vertical operations in sectors like Automotive, Education, Food & Beverage, Pharmaceuticals, or Healthcare.
- Proven success in developing and executing marketing strategies.
- Strong analytical skills and data-driven decision-making.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills in English; German and other European languages are advantages.
