We have an exciting opportunity for a committed HR Business Partner to join our team at our office in Germany. The HR Business Partner (HRBP) will be responsible for aligning business objectives with the HR strategy for employees and leadership in the designated geographies they support. The position formulates partnerships across the HR function to maintain HR strategies, procedures, and programs that are linked to business strategies in accordance with corporate guidelines. Maintains a positive employee relations environment to ensure satisfied and highly productive employees.
Job Duties and Responsibilities
• Work closely with HR Director and wider global HR team deploying the global HR strategy and delivering on new innovative initiatives and projects.
• Develop HR strategies that support the achievement of departmental and broader business goals to include but not limited to, workforce planning, performance management, organisational development and talent engagement.
• Act as first point of contact for employees and managers for all HR related matters
• Ownership for operational activities associated with all stages of the employee life cycle.
• Drive Diversity & Inclusion through career mapping, talent development, succession management and recommendations of talent for growth opportunities.
• Positively collaborate and partner with TA and L&D Manager to support departmental resource planning and employee development, respectively.
• Works closely with management and employees to improve work relationships, optimize employee engagement, increase productivity, and drive retention.
• Provides day-to-day performance management and legislative guidance to line management (e.g.coaching, counseling, career development, disciplinary actions).
• Analyzes trends and metrics in partnership with the HR group to develop solutions, programs and policies.
• Maintains in-depth knowledge of legal requirements related to day-to-day management of employees, reducing legal risks and ensuring regulatory compliance. Partners with the legal department as required.
• All other duties as assigned.
Skillset Requirements
• Relevant, progressive HR Business Partner experience supporting senior-level and executive leaders.
• Strong working knowledge of HR best practices at an EMEA regional level, working in international teams and supporting client groups in within the regions through change projects
• Proven ability to build effective and positive relationships with all levels within the organization.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build collaborative relationships and influence stakeholders at all levels of the organisation
• Strong analytical, conflict resolution and problem-solving skills.
• High level of integrity and ability to handle confidential information.
• Self-motivated, capable decision-maker with strong time management and organizational skills.
• Proven capabilities in people strategy, understanding workforce requirements, identifying capabilities, proactively developing, and implementing plans to achieve necessary outcomes.
• Highly motivated team player able to work at a fast pace.
• Experience with knowledge of German & Swiss labour and works constitution law an advantage.
• Strong oral and written command of English.
