Job summary

Nehmeh Group in Qatar is seeking a skilled maintenance/engineering professional to oversee the operation and upkeep of woodworking machinery, including CNC, panel saws, edge banders, and sanders. You will install, commission, and maintain equipment, perform preventive and corrective maintenance, diagnose faults, and upgrade machines to ensure optimal performance.

You will also analyse drawings and manuals, supervise setup, calibration and testing, and maintain detailed maintenance and breakdown

Qualifications

• Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical/Electrical/Mechatronics or equivalent.
• 4–5 years’ experience in maintenance/engineering of woodworking machinery.
• Experience with CNC, panel saws, edge banders and sanders is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Install, commission, operate, and maintain woodworking machinery.
• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance; fault diagnosis and machine upgrades.
• Analyze drawings, electrical schematics and manuals; supervise setup, calibration, and testing; maintain maintenance records and breakdown reports.
• Train technicians and operators on safe operation and routine checks; coordinate with suppliers for technical support and spare parts.

Analyze machine drawings, electrical schematics, and technical manuals, supervise setup, calibration, alignment, and testing, and maintain maintenance records and breakdown reports.
Train technicians and operators on safe operation and routine checks, and coordinate with suppliers and service providers for technical support and spare parts procurement.
