Job summary

Rixos Premium Qetaifan Island North is seeking a Ride Technician to maintain and repair rides and attractions in the waterpark, ensuring the highest safety standards. You will diagnose faults, perform preventive maintenance, and manage records and stock, while coordinating with engineering and other departments.

The role requires secondary education and a trades technician background, plus proficiency in MS Office and English.

Qualifications

• Secondary / High school education.
• Qualification in Trades Technician level, variety of engineering/maintenance.
• Basic computer skills in MS Office and ability to use BMS.
• Good proficiency in the English language.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and repair all attractions and rides following the highest standards of safety.
• Identify maintenance risks on equipment.
• Diagnose faults for all attractions and rides in the waterpark.
• Perform preventative maintenance, repairs, and overhauls on rides and equipment in line with manufacturer specs and waterpark standards.
• Perform emergency repairs promptly and efficiently.
• Provide technical direction and on-the-job training.
• Maintain daily logs and records of all maintenance work performed, in paper and electronic form.
• Keep inventory up to date and write purchase order requests for needed items.
• Participate in the on-call program and respond by phone and in person as appropriate.
• Report potential hazards, safety concerns, and accidents immediately.
• Ensure effective communication and good relations between engineering and other departments.
• Comply with Health and Safety Regulations.
