Job summary

Client of Recruit for Africa seeks polished waiters for luxury hotels in Qatar. You will deliver refined service in dining venues, lounges, and events for international guests. Responsibilities include menu guidance, pairings, and seamless coordination with kitchen and bar teams.

We value strong communication, multitasking and guest engagement. Fluency in English is required; additional languages are a plus.

Qualifications

• Fluent in English and well-presented with excellent communication.

Key Responsibilities

• Service Excellence: Welcome guests warmly present menus confidently and deliver attentive personalized service throughout their dining experience
• Guest Engagement: Build rapport with guests anticipate needs and ensure satisfaction through proactive communication and professionalism
• Menu Knowledge: Maintain thorough understanding of food wine and beverage offerings Provide recommendations and guide guests through pairings and specials
• Order Management: Accurately record orders using POS systems coordinate with kitchen and bar teams and ensure timely delivery of dishes and drinks
• Table Operations: Clear clean and reset tables efficiently while maintaining flow and presentation standards
• Team Collaboration: Work closely with supervisors hosts and fellow waiters to ensure smooth service pacing and consistent guest satisfaction
• Presentation Standards: Uphold impeccable grooming uniform and etiquette standards that reflect the prestige of luxury hospitality
• Upselling amp Revenue: Promote signature dishes premium beverages and special experiences to enhance guest enjoyment and increase sales
• Compliance amp Safety: Follow hygiene health and safety protocols in line with five-star hotel standards

Experience: Minimum 2 3 years as a Waiter / Waitress in luxury hotels, fine-dining restaurants, or premium hospitality environments.

Skills: Strong communication, multitasking, and organizational abilities. Proficiency with POS systems and basic cash handling.

Personality: Charismatic, energetic, and passionate about hospitality.

Attributes: High attention to detail, polished appearance, and composure under pressure.

Language: Fluent in English; additional languages are an advantage.

Flexibility: Willingness to work varied shifts, including weekends, evenings, and public holidays.
