Job summary

Madre Integrated Engineering is seeking a seasoned cybersecurity professional to lead vulnerability management efforts in Doha, Qatar. The role focuses on scanning, validating findings, and prioritizing remediation across systems, networks, and applications.

The ideal candidate has at least five years in information security, hands-on experience with Qualys, Tenable, and Nexpose, and strong knowledge of CVSS and OWASP Top 10. Certifications like CEH or Security+ are preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in CS/IT/Cybersecurity.
• Minimum 5 years in vulnerability management or security operations.
• Hands-on experience with vulnerability scanning tools: Qualys, Tenable, Nexpose.
• Strong understanding of CVSS, OWASP Top 10, threat vectors.
• CEH or CompTIA Security+ certification preferred.

Requirements

• Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in vulnerability management, information security, or cybersecurity operations.
  
• Hands-on experience with vulnerability scanning tools such as Qualys, Tenable, Nexpose, or equivalent.
  
• Strong understanding of CVSS, OWASP Top 10, vulnerability prioritization, and common enterprise threat vectors.
  
• Experience analyzing scan results, validating findings, identifying false positives, and recommending appropriate remediation actions.
  
• Strong reporting and documentation skills, including experience preparing dashboards, vulnerability metrics, and management reports.
  
• CEH, CompTIA Security+, or an equivalent industry-recognized cybersecurity certification is preferred.
