Job summary

Vodafone Qatar is seeking an experienced professional to lead voice interconnect, manage related costs and billing, and drive performance across cross-functional teams in a dynamic telecom environment.

The role requires deep knowledge of voice interconnects, negotiation with international carriers, and collaboration with finance and technology to ensure quality and compliant operations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Telecom or IT.
• 5+ years of relevant experience in voice interconnect.
• Cross-functional influence in delivering a marketing plan.
• Strong understanding of voice and relations with carriers.
• Expertise in numbering range, short codes, and local regulations.

Responsibilities

• Manage termination cost and voice P&L.
• Coordinate with MA&RA for reconciliation and billing.
• Negotiate corridor deals with APAC & ME operators.
• Own traffic and interconnect billing; liaise with finance.
• Coordinate with technology to monitor voice quality KPIs.
• Perform additional tasks as assigned by Line Manager.

Job description

Manage the termination cost, Voice P&L (revenue. Cost. Margin). Maintain and monitor voice quality KPIs in coordination with technology.

Coordination with MA&RA to ensure accurate reconciliation and billing in addition to handling disputes. And Coordinate with international carriers.

Negotiation of corridor deals with operators from APAC & ME carriers/operators, Domestic voice commercial and operations.

Commercial owner of traffic and billing management. Liaise with finance to ensure accurate booking for Interconnect Cost.

Coordination with technology for monitoring voice quality KPIs and ensuring.

Perform any additional project, task or activities assigned/delegated by the Line Manager.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Telecom or IT.

5+ years of relevant experience in voice interconnect is a must for this position

In-depth experience in influencing cross functionally against the delivery of a marketing plan

Excellent understanding of voice and excellent relation with voice carriers/operators.

• Expertise in numbering range, short codes, local regulations.
