Job summary

Qatar Airways Group is seeking an Upholsterer - Workshops in Doha as part of its MRO team. The role focuses on fabricating and recovering aircraft component furnishings, with emphasis on timeliness and adherence to quality standards.

The candidate should have at least 2 years in upholstery, and prior aircraft upholstery experience is preferred. Regulatory compliance (EASA/QCAA Part 145) and airworthiness assurance are essential aspects of the job.

Qualifications

• Ability to operate and maintain relevant tools.

Specific Responsibilities For The Role Include

• You will be responsible to fabricate and recover aircraft component furnishing.
• You shall be responsible to carry out tasks within an acceptable timeframe.
• You will be responsible carried out task according to company quality and standards.
• Additionally, you shall be responsible for ensuring airworthiness and safety compliance i.e., manufacturer’s recommendation.
• You shall be responsible to ensure adherence to regulatory (EASA/QCAA Part 145) compliance while performing component maintenance.

Qualification

The successful candidate will have the following skills and qualifications:

• High School or Bachelor’s Degree or Equivalent with Minimum 2 years of job-related experience.
• Previous experience in the field of Upholstery work.
• Ability to operate and maintain equipment or tooling relating to work area.
• Knowledge of equipment maintenance, operation and proper handling.
