Job summary

Qureos, based in Lusail, Qatar, seeks a Treasury Manager - Debt & Exposure Management to assist the Treasury Director in debt and equity financing, liquidity risk, and exposure oversight. You will oversee cash flow forecasting, risk hedging, and capital structuring.

The role demands extensive experience in treasury operations, strong communication skills, and relevant certifications (MBA/CFA/ACCA). GCC experience is advantageous and SAP experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Experience in managing financial risks including interest rate, FX, and credit risk.
• Experience in right-sizing capital structure for top-tier corporates.
• Knowledge of debt and equity structures (Sukuk, Private Placement, Syndication, Bilateral, Bridge & Club, Bond issuance, IPO).
• Proficiency in regulatory/compliance requirements for listed companies (KYC/AML).

Responsibilities

• Manage banking relationships for debt and equity funding per policy.
• Assess and manage financial risks via hedging and risk strategies.
• Coordinate with lenders and legal for debt facilities (LMA documentation).
• Monitor market trends, economic/regulatory changes affecting financial position.
• Support senior management on risk assessments, investment strategies, and capital allocation.
• Assist Treasury Director and CFO with balance sheet structuring and leverage impact.
• Conduct covenant analyses and remediation related to group debt.

Qureos is looking for a Treasury Manager - Debt & Exposure Management for its client based in Lusail, Qatar. The role assists the Treasury Director in the management of debt and equity financing, liquidity risk, counterparty risk management, interest rate and foreign exchange exposures and oversight of cash flow forecasting.

Job Responsibilities

• Manage Group banking relationships for debt and equity funding requirements in accordance with policies and guidelines.
• Assess and manage financial risks, including interest rate risk, foreign exchange risk, and credit risk, through hedging and risk management strategies.
• Manage and co-ordinate with lenders and legal counsel LMA documentation for debt facilities.
• Monitor and analyze market trends, economic conditions, and regulatory changes to anticipate potential impacts on the organization's financial position and strategies.
• Provide support to senior management on financial risk assessments, investment strategies, and capital allocation decisions.
• Assist the Treasury Director and CFO with balance sheet capital structuring and impact on leverage ratios.
• Management covenant analysis and remediation structures relating to Group debt.

Job Requirements

• Minimum 12 years' experience in a tier 1 bank or corporation. GCC experiences an advantage.
• Bachelor's degree in business, accounting and finance, or economics.
• MBA, CFA, CMA, ACA or ACCA is mandatory.
• Proficiency in financial risk management, including foreign exchange risk, interest rate risk, and credit risk.
• Experience in right-sizing capital structure for a top tier corporate organization.
• Experience in the following debt and equity structures - Sukuk, Private Placement, Syndication, Bilateral, Bridge and Club structures, Bond issuance and IPO.
