Job summary

Arab Engineering Bureau in Qatar is seeking a Traffic Engineer to conduct traffic impact studies, model transportation networks, and perform operational analyses for new and existing developments.

The role requires a Masters in Transportation Planning/Engineering, 4–5 years of experience, and proficiency with VISUM; knowledge of SYNCHRO and SIDRA is desirable and experience with Qatar TIS procedures is a plus.

Qualifications

• Masters in Transportation Planning / MS in Transportation Engineering.
• 4-5 years of experience in Traffic/Transportation as Traffic Engineer.
• Proficient in VISUM for strategic planning.
• Knowledge of SYNCHRO, SIDRA; familiarity with Qatar TIS procedures is an added advantage.

Responsibilities

• Preparation of transport impact studies.
• Review of development site plans.
• Handle strategic models like TMPQ model at Qatar.
• Update TMPQ model, junction analysis using Synchro and Sidra.
• Analyse access arrangements and layouts for new developments.
• Review transportation elements for new and existing developments.
