Job summary

Mekdam Technical Services in Doha, Qatar, seeks an experienced Senior Piping and Layout Engineer to lead design and supervision on major oil & gas projects.

The role requires 8 years in engineering, including 4 in oil & gas, with FEED/EPC detailed design experience and knowledge of NGL facilities, offshore design, and contractor oversight. This on-site role focuses on inlet facilities and utilities design, offering leadership opportunities.

Qualifications

• 8 years of experience in Engineering roles, including 4 years in the oil & gas industry.
• At least 1 year in a supervisory or oversight role over contractors/sub-contractors/service/vendor personnel.
• Senior piping and layout engineering supervision with broad NGL design knowledge.
• FEED and EPC detailed design experience with large utilities systems in inlet facilities.

Qualifications*

Bachelor's degree in Engineering.

Knowledge and/or Experience*

• 8 years of experience in Engineering roles, including 4 years in the oil & gas industry, including 1 year in a supervisory or acting role, or oversight of contractor sub-contractors/service/vendor personnel.
• Basic knowledge of 3D Modelling software (PDS/SP3D).
• Senior Piping and Layout Engineering supervisory level with a broad knowledge of NGL Design and Engineering execution on projects including design standards, specifications, codes, safety criteria, offshore facilities design, construction and operations.
• FEED and EPC detailed design experience with large utilities systems in Inlet facilities.
• Skill / knowledge in application of International his area of expertise
